Overview

I put together a micromodule with the goal of informing learners about what a reasonable accommodation is and what a federal agency’s responsibility is in providing them.

I loosely based this concept on a recent project that I worked on with my stakeholders about reasonable accommodations. Since I can’t share any proprietary content from my current role, this project serves as an example of some of the work I have done in the past.

To build the course, I used graphics from StorySet.com. Uniformity is important in course design, and I was excited to play around with StorySet’s ability to apply branding colors and simplify backgrounds in their graphics. I was also pleasantly surprised to see how many images there were. I used Pana with a simple background and added the orange color to the template.

I also incorporated a progress bar at the center-top portion of the course. I wanted to have a clean but effective way of indicating the learner’s progress.

Overall, building this small module was pretty fun, mostly because I was able to keep the content super short and use StorySet’s graphics. I am super pleased with the way this course came out. What do you think?
